  13. ProJPEG is not free. You may evaluate it for up to 30 days to
  14. see if it meets your needs before registering. The shareware 
  15. version of ProJPEG also has a limit that will only allow you to create
  16. 40 files, which may or may not occur before the maximum trial period
  17. has expired. After which, a valid registration number must be entered
  18. to restore functionality. If after evaluating ProJPEG for the trial
  19. period, you find it does not meet your needs or you decide not to
  20. register for any other reason, you must destroy all copies of ProJPEG 
  21. in your possession. To continue to use ProJPEG beyond the trial
  22. period you must register it.

  24. Please support the shareware system. It allows companies like
  25. BoxTop and many others to provide programs at a much lower cost to
  26. you than possible by commercial distribution means, but it only
  27. works with your support.

  35. By using this software, ProJPEG, the user agrees to the following 
  36. terms and conditions.

  38. BoxTop Software grants the user a non-exclusive single user license 
  39. to use this software, ProJPEG, in unregistered shareware form for 
  40. your internal business purposes only for an evaluation period of no 
  41. more than thirty days. After this evaluation period the user must 
  42. register this software by sending the appropriate payment as outlined
  43. in the "Cost & Registering Instructions" document to Kagi Shareware,
  44. BoxTop Software's payment processor, or destroy all copies of this 
  45. software in the user’s possession.

  47. You, the user, may not commercially distribute, sub-license, resell, 
  48. or otherwise transfer for any consideration, or reproduce for any 
  49. such purposes, this software, ProJPEG, or any modification or 
  50. derivation thereof, either alone or in conjunction with any other 
  51. product or program without prior written consent of BoxTop Software. 
  52. Further, you, the user may not modify this software, other than for 
  53. your own internal business use.

  55. However, this software may be freely distributed in it's original 
  56. unmodified shareware form, so long as this notice and other documentation 
  57. is included.

  59. BoxTop Software specifically grants permission for this software to be
  60. made available in its original, unmodified shareware form with all 
  61. accompanying documentation at FTP sites, both public and private; on
  62. CD-ROMs or disks included with published books or magazines at no 
  63. additional charge; by commercial online services, which may charge 
  64. a fee for download time as per their standard terms of service; from 
  65. person to person; and by all means of distribution that are not for 
  66. commercial or personal profit.

  69. specifically outlined above or license it to be bundled in registered

  75. ProJPEG software and/or associated materials supplied to the user,

  78. warrant that the functions contained in the software will meet your 
  79. requirements, or that the operation of the software will be 
  80. uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects in the software will 
  81. be corrected. Furthermore, BoxTop Software does not warrant or make 
  82. any representations regarding the use or the result of the use of 
  83. this software or any associated documentation in terms of their 
  84. correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. No oral or written 
  85. information or advice given by BoxTop software or BoxTop software 
  86. authorized representatives shall create a warranty or in any way 
  87. increase the scope of this warranty.

  90. including property damage, personal injury, intellectual property 
  91. infringement, loss of profits, or interruption of business, or for

  94. negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.
